Guide & Manual Downloads

  1. Download and install the attached file via CKAN (File -> Install from .ckan -> attached file you downloaded).
  2. Launch game after installing the .ckan pack and verify everything works before moving on to manual downloads (this helps to troubleshoot if a problem was caused by CKAN or manual mods).
  3. Download and install the newest of the following mods:
    TURD (DO NOT USE THE INCLUDED VERSION OF 000_Textures Unlimited; only drag over the TURD files, or select "Skip these files" if merging the GameData folders together)
    DLCs (Use the MH_BG one if you have both DLCs)
    Procedural Wings
    Procedural Glass
    OPT
    BDa
    MK2EXPANSION
    MK3EXPANSION
    *additional Turd configs are included for near future tech no need for download*
  4. (Optional) This pack will work fine without True Volumetrics, but if you wish to buy it go to Blackrack's Patreon and install it according to the instructions there after launching the game and verifying that the other manual installs above are working as expected.

For even better terrain graphics and even much better planets from orbit now you can buy and install Parallax Continued. Just discovered this one but I'll definitely be using it in the videos as the terrain and scatters are incredible! (I'm using 2x range and 2x scatter density in the parallax setting in the videos)
